A tragic road accident confirmed on the N1 of the Beitbridge Border Post near Musina, carrying undocumented Malawian immigrants being transported from KwaZulu-Natal to a repatriation camp Centre in Limpopo killed the driver and 11 passengers sustained injuries.
According to preliminary reports, the driver allegedly lost control of the bus due to fatigue, causing the bus to overturn. The driver was confirmed dead while the 11 passengers sustained injuries. The injured were transported to Musina Hospital for Medical treatment.
The road remains open.
However, motorists are warned to expect delays as investigations continue and are urged to exercise extreme caution.
