Kylian Mbappé has claimed that he was the only established star at Paris Saint-Germain during his final season at the club.
Speaking to French newspaper L’Équipe, Mbappé said it was normal for players to have egos in a dressing room, but argued that being a star does not always mean having a large ego.
Mbappé said there were no other major stars at PSG during his final year, although Ousmane Dembélé later developed into one.
He also suggested that some players who receive little public attention can still have huge egos.
Mbappé left PSG in 2024 after seven seasons at the French club and joined Real Madrid.
His comments are likely to fuel further discussion about the dressing-room dynamics at PSG during his time at the club.
