ERMELO, Mpumalanga, Eight people have been killed in a collision involving two sedans on the N17 near Ermelo in Mpumalanga.
The victims include six adults and two minors. Both drivers died, along with six passengers travelling in one of the vehicles.
The crash occurred shortly after 1:00am on Sunday.
The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Meanwhile, Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Jackie Macie, has urged motorists to exercise caution when using the road.
Emergency personnel remain at the scene.
