Orlando Pirates have confirmed the permanent return of Bheki Mabuza from Marumo Gallants, marking the player’s return to the Buccaneers after a spell away from the club.
The Soweto giants announced that an agreement had been reached with Marumo Gallants for Mabuza’s permanent transfer.
Mabuza’s return comes after he made significant progress during his time with Gallants, where his performances impressed the Pirates technical team.
According to the club, his displays convinced them that he is ready to return to the Buccaneers and take the next step in his career.
However, Mabuza is not the only player involved in the deal between the two clubs.
Orlando Pirates also confirmed that Daniel Msendami and Abdoulaye Mariko will move in the opposite direction, joining Marumo Gallants on season-long loan agreements.
The moves will give the two players an opportunity to gain further playing experience while strengthening Gallants’ squad for the season.
For Pirates, Mabuza’s return provides another option within the squad, while the loan departures of Msendami and Mariko are expected to give the players valuable game time.
The latest transfers highlight the continued movement of players between the two clubs as they prepare for the new campaign.
