Police are investigating after the body of a woman was discovered at Mooifontein Cemetery in Thembisa South, Ekurhuleni, on Saturday morning.
SAPS spokesperson, Brenda Muridili, said police can only confirm the discovery of the body at this stage. Crime scene experts and other role players are still processing the scene, and more information will be released once preliminary investigations have been completed.
The latest discovery brings the number of women’s bodies found in Ekurhuleni since July to 10. Eight of the victims have been identified by their families, while police have arrested three suspects in connection with one of the cases. Investigations are continuing.
