Portugal’s preparations have been given an interesting twist after Jorge Jesus suggested that there are no hard feelings between him and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking about their relationship, Jesus insisted that the situation is “easy to resolve”, raising questions over whether Ronaldo could soon return to the Portugal setup.
The comments come at a time when Ronaldo’s presence remains a major talking point for the national team.
Despite being one of the most decorated players in Portuguese football history, his future with the Seleção has faced uncertainty following the recent tension.
Jesus’ latest remarks appear to leave the door open for reconciliation, with the manager making it clear that he does not believe there is a serious issue between the two.
For Portugal, having Ronaldo available would represent a major boost in experience and leadership.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner remains a key figure for the country, while his goalscoring record continues to make him an important option whenever he is selected.
Now, attention turns to whether the two can put their differences aside and work together again.
No bad feelings. Easy to resolve. Could we see Cristiano Ronaldo back in Portugal colours?
