African Rainbow Minerals chairperson and billionaire mining magnate, Dr Patrice Motsepe has again rejected speculation that he intends to contest the Presidency at the African National Congress 2027 elective conference.
Speaking at African Rainbow Minerals’ latest results briefing, Motsepe characterised the rumours as “false and unfounded.”
He used the financial results presentation to disassociate himself from the so-called “PM27” succession movement.
Motsepe told investors that his focus remains entirely on the company’s contribution to the South African economy.
