Lekompo artist Shebe Maburna’s bail hearing has been postponed to December 8, 2025, at the Polokwane Magistrate Court.
Shebe Maburna, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke, is facing charges of attempted murder, malicious damage to property, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Shebeshxt has denied the charges against him and plans to plead not guilty to attempted murder, malicious damage to property, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The incident is said to have allegedly occurred on October the 19th in Ladanna, Polokwane and a passenger was wounded.
Lehlogonolo is facing a total of nine charges, which includes attempted murder, two counts of Assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, malicious damage to property, robbery with aggravating circumstances and a possession of a firearm.
These charges are being heard at the Polokwane Magistrate Court and are considered schedule 6 offenses, which typically carry severe penalties.
Most of these offences were committed at different targets during his performances in Seshego, Lebowakgomo, Mankweng and Ladanna spanning from 2015 to 2025.
In his affidavit that was read by his lawyer, Lot Rammusi, the accused said some of the charges that happened from Lebowakgomo and Mankweng were withdrawn by the alleged victims and some through a conciliation.
Shebeshxt said he is surprised that some of those matters were added when they have already been withdrawn.
He says he is prepared to comply to the strict bail conditions that the court will see fit and he is not intending to sidestep the justice system or in any way evade with the state’s witnesses.
