Fuel prices set to rise in December- Motorists warned

Seems like December will not be such a good month for motorists since fuel prices are expected to rise.

According to the latest data from the Central Energy Fund, petrol prices are expected to rise between 20 and 25 litre.

Diesel on the on the other hand could rise higher because of the 93 cents per litre under recovery heading into the festive season.

Despite the rand being stronger, the rising global fuel prices are offsetting the benefits at the pump.

The fuel price hike comes at a tough time for many households, who are already struggling financially.

Motorists should consider adjusting their budgets to accommodate the increased fuel costs, and plan their trips accordingly.
