A 78-year-old, Annah Masebe Motlakeng has left her family heart broken and traumatized after she was allegedly murdered by unknown intruders in her home.
The tragedy struck in Marimba Gardens, extension 9 in Ekurhuleni, when Gogo Annah was found deceased with a stab wound at her home on October the 6th. Her nephew, Tshepo Motlakeng expressed the family’s shock and grief stating that they are still trying to come to terms with the loss.
“We are leaving everything in God’s hands. They stole her belongings and brutally took her life” Tshepo said.
Tshepo said the attacker got into the house through the roof. They allegedly stole valuables like cellphone, plasma TV, radio and Six AMC pots. The incident is believed to have happened in the early hours of the 6th of October.
Tshepo further mentioned that a concerned neighbor was g fortunately the one who found his aunt’s lifeless body and immediately called for help. Gogo Annah has been described as a neat and caring person who loved her family dearly, and a devoted church goer who loved God.
No arrests have been made so far, and a case of murder has been opened with investigations ongoing.
