Eskom Limpopo is working to restore electricity after an unplanned outage at the Unin Munyamani Substation, where a breaker tripped following a fallen conductor.
The outage is affecting residents in Mamotintane, Ga-Kama, Makeketela, Malahlela, Masealam and Ga-Motholo.
Technical teams are on-site attending to the fault, but Eskom says there is currently no estimated time for restoration.
The utility is urging residents to treat all electrical infrastructure as live and apologises for the inconvenience caused.
