A salon owner was shot dead on Saturday night in Nakuru Street near Ehlanzeni Hostel in Tembisa.
It is reported that the victim had just returned from attending to a client when the shooting occurred.
Police rushed to the scene and sealed off the area as investigations began.
The road opposite Ehlanzeni Hostel was temporarily closed while crime scene experts conducted their investigations.
The motive for the shooting has not yet been established. Police investigations are continuing.
