Head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns shared his view about facing a lot of competition as he was attending Nedbank Cup conference at Headquarters in Johannesburg.
However, they are not complaining because they will fight for a win. They are scheduled for 11 matches in their fixture that is in the next two months and it will be hectic.
He believes that it is going to be challenging but they need to be wise and relate to it.
Coach has signed their new star player, Bryan Leon, who is already making good progress. He already scored six goals from the seven matches in all competitions.
Cardoso said from the 14 February their schedule was hectic.
They will be playing 11 games until the 22 March. “In this moment we will have to manage players because of the matches.
We are not just going to rotate players, we are going to do so at the right moment after we have evaluated what we have on the table.
“This guy played yesterday and maybe he can play this match, although we feel there is a risk and he must not start, he needs to rest”. We need to manage players individually.
The coach believes that their match against Pirates was an important game but there is no match that is more important than other.
That is why they need to focus.
They also need to make sure that they collect those points against Sekhukhune and AmaZulu.
