TEBOGO MOKOENA ACHIVED HIS 50TH CAP FOR HIS NATIONAL TEAM

A midfielder Tebogo Mokoena from Bafana Bafana, has made the South Africans very proud from their last game at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha Eastern Cape on the 15 of November 2025.

They had a friendly game with Zambia and they won 3-1 against it, however Mokoena Tebogo has achieved even more. “This is a big day in my life I am very grateful to have come this far. Today is my 50th cap. I am vey excited and looking forward to the future” said Tebogo Mokena.

The 28-year-old midfielder has become one of the trusted players of Hugo Broos because of his good performances. He was feeling very happy and grateful for having this opportunity and he never let to thank coach Hugo for believing in him together with the mentors of Bafana Bafana.

He come very far for him to have this, his journey did not start today he has been working very hard.“I also want to thank Baxter because he is the one who gave me a Bafana debut. I want to thank everyone who sent me messages before the game even during the week. I appreciate it”.

Tebogo is now one of the best South African players everyone sees his good work. “ I congratulate him, certainly. It is not everyone who earns 50 caps, and now he will have even more(in the future)”.
