North West’s businessman has denied claims that the text message he sent to Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala on New Year’s Eve in 2024 was linked to disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) . Mogotsi’s message is under gaze with people making allegations that it might be connected to the task team’s dissolution.
The text message from Mogotsi to Matlala, which says “today is D-day” happens to be on the same day Police Minister Senzo Mchunu issued the letter of disbandment of the PKTT.
However, Mogotsi intensely denied the allegations while testifying before the Madlanga Commission saying that the text was for the outstanding amount that Matlala owed him for an ANC event that happened in January.
