The lifeless body of 11-year-old has been discovered in a significant amount of blood in his home in Limpopo.
Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says the child was found dead on Sunday.Ledwaba said the Police were called to the scene of murder at Giyani( Mapuve Village) and upon arrival, the police found a female who pointed the room where the body was discovered.
The deceased was found in a significant amount of blood, covered in a blanket, with a visible neck injury. And he was declared dead on the scene.
The police are keeping his identity. According to Ledwaba, initial reports have indicated that the mother to three children, aged three, five and eleven years old left them during the night.
When she returned home the next morning, she found her older son lying lifeless in the room, covered in a blanket.
