Operation Dudula, a lobbying group, has applauded the Durban High Court’s ruling against the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC).

The court dismissed the commission’s urgent interdict against preventing foreign nationals from receiving services from public hospitals and clinics on Friday, along with fees.

According to Judge David Sachs, the commission’s application constituted a misuse of the legal system.Zandile Dabula, the commander of Operation Dudula, has denounced the SAHRC’s conduct and asserted that the lobby group ought to be defending South Africans.

Which side do they belong to? Their decision to take us to court demonstrates their support for foreigners. Instead of choosing sides, they were meant to call both sides and attempt to mediate. Nothing that we are doing here is wrong at all.

We are merely ensuring that the law is upheld, we have done nothing improper.
