The Kaizer Chiefs has a new captain in their team, Brandon Peterson, who is determined to lead them with a good vision.
Promising them that they will not regret choosing him as he is going to bring nothing but a good performances to Amakhosi.
Peterson believes that being a good captain shows by actions. Leading with examples and knowing the differences between the players and the coach with the team.
“And I think for me it is important to obviously stick my neck out for each and every player in the team, and make sure if there is anything that bugs them or anything they need to speak about or struggling with, they can approach me and I am able to speak and solve it in the best way possible” he said.
“But also I have always liked to believe that I am a natural leader, and I am one that leads by action rather than just saying words and speaking stuff. So for me it is important to, with the other captains in the captain committee, not just say stuff but do it, and we have to set that example and always try to put our best foot forward”
They will be playing AS Simba of DR Congo tomorrow. Peterson reminded them that they will come with good results.
He encourages them to start with a strong game because they cannot afford to lose, they also have to concede and making sure that they score.
