South African visual journalist Sebabatso “Sebs” Mosamo has died at the age of 39 in Johannesburg after a brief illness, the Associated Press confirmed.
Ms Mosamo, who joined the AP in 2021, became widely respected for her fearless reporting. She covered some of South Africa’s biggest stories, including protests, elections, and the effects of COVID-19.
