Patriotic Alliance (PA) Deputy President Kenny Kunene has been exonerated of all charges after he was found at the home of murder suspect Katiso “KT” Molefe in July.

Kunene, the PA’s Johannesburg mayoral candidate, maintained that he visited Molefe’s residence solely to accompany a young reporter for an exclusive interview for his media platform.According to the findings, the CDH stated that there is no evidence or any testimony that disputed Kunene’s account of events on the 21st of July.

The report confirmed Kunene’s account, citing corroboration from multiple witnesses, documentary evidence, and other supporting information. The CDH report concluded that Kunene’s account stands as true, with no evidence or witness testimony disputing his version of events.

Mr Kunene has consistently been denying involvement, telling the SABC that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time but the Patriotic Alliance had suspended him for 30 days pending investigation.
