The stage is ready, for Currie Cup semifinals on the upcoming Saturday ,13 September 2025. Where Fidelity ADT Lions will be playing against Sanlam Boland Kavaliers in Ellis Park, Johannesburg at 5:00 pm. Thereafter, Suzuki Griquas vs Toyota Cheetahs at Suzuki Stadium, therefore Kimberly at 7:15 pm, to play for Currie Cup semi-finalists offering a big price.
In the last games, the Lions were able to secure 37-7 victory over Suzuki Griquas on the 6th of September 2025. They have been working so hard since the league started, they were even able to reach the point of winning 5/7 of their matches. ADT Lions managed to stand strong from their two loses of the games. On the other hand, the Sanlam Boland won three games and lost only two. These teams in the same level as they both lost two games.
They have shown their quality as they are now going to show their impressive performances against each other on Saturday (16 September 2025). The match between Suzuki vs Cheetahs will be the second semi-final, as they have had intense competition against each other, consistently showcasing similar quality and performance. Suzuki Griquas managed to win five consecutive games after their loss in the first round. They have been playing well and were at the top before their final round with ADT Lions, where they were unable to win.
The performance of Toyota Cheetahs has also proven how strong they are for this season. The Boland Kavaliers won four games, with accumulation of 23 points, securing their third place. The carling Currie Cup has recorded the games to be played for semi-finals. Therefore, these four (4) teams, (Fidelity ADT Lions, Sanlam Boland Kavaliers, Suzuki Griquas and Toyota Cheetahs) will kick off their matches on Saturday, showcasing their determination to win.
