The University of Limpopo students are highly upset with the current status of the SRC. They have little to no information about who the president is and therefore, they are contesting for a way forward.
According to some allegations, the rumored president to be elected is Komane, but with such information, some of the students are unhappy whilst some are rejoicing. Due to the events unfolding amongst the elected SRC, students are wondering if they have made a poor decision in electing the EFFYC to lead them for the fourth term.
The EFFYC has decided to issue out a petition for re-elections, so that everyone will have a chance to vote for their desired candidates for the SRC. The story is currently still unfolding and investigations are underway to determine who will be the SRC president for the year 2025/26.
